Prof. Ilieva presented the GATE Institute as the core of the innovation ecosystem in Bulgaria. The highlight of her speech was the international initiatives, facilitated in Bulgaria by GATE, such as the creation of data spaces and the development of the institute as a NATO test center for new technologies in the field of big data and artificial intelligence. In this context, she also emphasized the support that GATE provides to innovative startups in Bulgaria.
