Goals & Impact

Aims

The overall vision of the enRichMyData project is to create a novel paradigm for building rich, high-quality, valuable, and FAIR-compliant datasets to feed Big Data and AI applications in the context of data-sharing ecosystems, such as data spaces. The paradigm facilitates the specification and execution of data enrichment pipelines, focusing on supporting various data enrichment operations.

Partnership

The project is initiated with the partners of GATE’s InterTwino project SINTEF and the University of Milano Bicocca.

PHILIPS ELECTRONICS NEDERLAND BV NL, ROBERT BOSCH GMBH DE, TICON UK LIMITED UK,  JOT INTERNET MEDIA ESPANA SL ES,  CS GROUP – ROMANIA SA RO,  EXPERT.AI S.P.A. IT, SIRMA AI EAD BG, UNIVERSITA’ DEGLI STUDI DI MILANO-BICOCCA IT, INSTITUT JOZEF STEFAN SI, KOBENHAVNS UNIVERSITET DK, BGRIMM Technology Group CH,

Research

The project will develop an open software toolbox–the enRichMyData toolbox–comprising of practical, robust and scalable components to support organizations in enriching their data with data they may have limited knowledge of, as well as data providers in making their data more reusable and valuable for data enrichment processes. The aim of the toolbox is to lower the technological entry barriers by providing support for the definition of highly scalable and replicable data enrichment pipelines based on a set of tools and infrastructure services related to capabilities needed to support the entire lifecycle of pipelines. The toolbox will make the data enrichment process accessible to a wider set of stakeholders by reducing the level of expertise required and enhancing the level of support.
