John Atanasoff Society of Automatics and Informatics (SAI), Bulgaria, organises the IFAC Workshop Control for Smart Cities – CSC 2022. The event will be held on 27-30 June 2022 in Sozopol.
From October 1 to 3, 2021, GATE was a partner in the Global Goals Jam, an event that engages creators and designers of products and services to contribute to the UN’s sustainable development goals by creating short-term interventions with long-term impact.
Prof. Sylvia Ilieva, the Director of GATE Institute, participated in the scientific conference “Inclusive Future for Europe beyond Industry 4.0 and Digital Disruption”, held on 30 September – 1 October 2021 as a hybrid event.
From 1 to 3 October 2021 GATE is a partner of Global Goals Jam Sofia. Global Goals Jam is a global initiative that takes place in 85 cities around the world, united by one cause – the realization of the UN Sustainable Development Goals for a better future. The event focuses on the theme of “Regenerative Cities” and seeks sustainable business models for products and services that create more value for the city, its resources and all its inhabitants.
For a second consecutive year GATE participated in the Biotech Atelier with a satellite virtual workshop “Data platforms and Artificial Intelligence for Digital Health”, held on 1st October 2021.
GATE presented its virtual program “Future in the present” as part of the “European Researchers’ Night”, which took place on 24-25 September 2021. The institute also participated with a stand located at the Ancient cultural and communication complex “Serdika” (“Largo”).
