The Director of the GATE Institute, Prof. Silvia Ilieva presented the project for the establishment of a Center of Excellence as an example of successful cooperation between Bulgaria and Sweden in research and innovation in the field of Information technology.

GATE presented its pilot project “City digital twin” at an online event “Future Cities and Their Digital Twins” broadcast on social media on October 30, 2020. During the event, GATE and Sofia Municipality signed a cooperation agreement, part of the Sofia Digitalization Strategy.

GATE was presented in a TV conference “Education and Business: Innovation vs. Conspiracies”, in a discussion on “Data Protection and How Artificial Intelligence is Changing Business Models ”. The conference was broadcast on Bulgaria ON AIR TV on October 20, 2020.

GATE Institute’s flagship projects were presented at “Innovative Sofia Meets Innovative Tallinn” webinar that took place on September 25^th, 2020.

GATE’s virtual workshop “Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in Digital Health” was held on 25^th September 2020 as a satellite event to Biotech Atelier 2020.
