The participants in the online event were introduced to the projects developed by the Institute and met with the researchers behind them. They also received information on career development opportunities and inclusion in GATE internship programmes in the following areas: Future Cities, Digital Health, Big Data Platforms, Data Analytics and Disinformation.
The programme of the event included a presentation by the Director of the Institute, Prof. Silvia Ilieva, who introduced the GATE’s main research areas, outlined the desired profile of trainees and career opportunities at GATE. The heads of research groups at the Institute presented the scientific fields and current projects they were working on, and young researchers shared their experience and advantages of working at GATE.
The event attracted about 20 participants.
