Goals & Impact

Aim

Key Objectives of the FINEX project are:

  1. To stimulate and interconnect the six targeted Innovation ecosystems as Europe’s Cleantech powerhouse, enhancing their gender inclusiveness, openness, competitiveness, and global potential.
  2. To develop world-class experimentation spaces jointly and promote a better-aligned EU regulatory, fiscal and legal framework.
  3. 3. To identify and support Cleantech domains and innovators requiring the development of experimentation spaces capable of supporting the quick deployment of disruptive and novel Deep Tech and solutions with the potential to help Europe achieve Climate and Industrial leadership.

Partnership

Key partners driving the green and digital transition in FINEX include:

  • EIT Digital,
  • EIT Climate-KIC,
  • the Cleantech Group,
  • FINEST CoE,
  • KIOS CoE,
  • Lithuania’s Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park
  • Riga Technical University.

Activities

FINEX will:

  1. Consolidate the knowledge, experience and capabilities gained in the project into a single-stop-shop, build around a joint digital toolkit repository and digital training programme for each of the targeted stakeholders;
  2. Elevate the capacity of the targeted stakeholders by building on the extensive set of best practices and tools particularly with regards to experimentation practices, turning research into disruptive innovations and their acceleration via living labs, test beds, and digital twins experimentation, which is available within the FINEX partners.
  3. Perform an ambitious number of training, mentoring, coaching, matchmaking, dealmaking and synergies exploitation workshops and events, both physical and online
