Introduction

Ruslana Margova is a Junior Researcher at the GATE Institute with serious editorial experience in Bulgarian dailies. She is interested in researching the latest trending topic of disinformation and fake news. Her PhD thesis is dedicated to the linguistic features of fake news. As a practising journalist on the one hand, and a philologist and computer linguist on the other, her interests are in the study of linguistic phenomena, related to manipulation, propaganda, and disinformation, and their concrete manifestations in Bulgarian.

She is interested in developing new methods of artificial intelligence for large-scale analysis of misinformation in Bulgarian and other languages.
