Big Data for Smart Society Institute (GATE) is pleased to announce two scholarships generously funded by DeepMind that are open to applicants who are female or underprivileged and wishing to pursue a Master’s degree in the “Artificial Intelligence” and “Information Extraction and Knowledge Discovery” Masters programs at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (FMI) of Sofia University.
The program “One step into the future with GATE”, which the Institute presented at the “European Researchers’ Night” on September 30, provoked great interest from both younger and older visitors to the event.
At a workshop held on September 26, 2022, GATE interns presented the results of their work. They talked about the tasks they had to solve and shared what challenges they faced during the internship.
GATE offers an exciting meeting with its researchers and their projects during the “European Researchers’ Night”, which will take place on September 30, 2022.
For a third consecutive year, GATE took part in Tuk-Tam Kosher 2022 – a global meeting of ideas, business and friends. The event took place on September 16, 2022 at Inter-Expo-Center and online worldwide.
In the framework of its InterTwino project (https://intertwino.gate-ai.eu/) and in collaboration with the DataCloud project (https://datacloudproject.eu/), GATE organized a research seminar “A novel paradigm for Big Data pipeline processing over heterogeneous resources”. The event took place online, on 8 September 2022.
