The GATE Institute, Ontotext and Identrics organized the conference “Technologies against disinformation”, which took place on July 5, 2022, live in Sofia and online.

The seventeenth annual conference „Strategic infrastructure and investments 2022“, organised by the CITY Media Group in a strategic partnership with the European Investment Bank, is a traditional forum to discuss the development of some of the critical networks in Bulgaria – the transport, energy and telecommunications networks. The event will be held on July 7 in Sofia Hotel Balkan and will focus on trends, good practices, infrastructure building, support and management.

Prof. Silvia Ilieva, Director of the GATE Institute, participated in the webinar “Global Innovation Index – Radar for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Bulgaria”, which was held on June 30, 2022.

“Global Innovation Index – Radar for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Bulgaria” is the topic of the online webinar to present the mechanism of the Index and its strategic importance for the development of entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems in Bulgaria. The event will be held online on June 30, 2022, from 10:15 to 12:30 h.

On June 27, 2022, the GATE Institute, represented by its director Prof. Dr Silvia Ilieva, and the Institute of Defense “Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov ” represented by its director, Col. Assoc. Prof. Borislav Genov signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which confirms and builds on their deepening relationship.

GATE Institute and Digital Twins Cities Centre of the Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden organized the Digital Twins for Smart City Control Workshop. It was held as a satellite event of IFAC Workshop Control for Smart Cities – CSC 2022 that took place on 27-30 June 2022, online.
